Love Wacker Quay
Artwork created by children from Antony C of E Primary School earlier this year illustrates ‘take litter home’ signs that have been installed at Wacker Quay.
Children from the school visited the site and hope the signs will keep this community asset free from litter and fly-tipping.
The beauty spot and woodland trail to Antony village is managed by the Tamar Community Trust with support from local volunteers and the Tamar Valley National Landscape team.
The Trust have already seen a reduction in litter and waste at the site, which is encouraging.
Are you willing to make a real difference at this popular beautiful spot? We need local walkers to snip at brambles creeping into the path, plus more ‘hands-on’ vegetation management. Find out how you can get involved – the impact our volunteers make is huge.
