Here, you’ll find news on progress with a range of projects that we’re involved with, that help to conserve and enhance the natural beauty of Tamar Valley National Landscape, as well as details of events and volunteering opportunities for you to join in with.

Our six-page spread focussing on the Tamara Landscape Partnership Scheme, highlights information on the Calstock Ferry trial; reflects on the first year of Tamara Coast to Coast Way; provides an update on apprenticeships and internships as part of the Scheme; and reveals the work that has been taking place to bring our heritage alive. You’ll also find details of our brand new Tamar Valley River Festival – taking place in October this year.
Through our Farming in Protected Landscapes programme, over 50 projects have been approved so far, receiving over £700,000. The Valley showcases just four of these projects, as we work with farmers and land managers to help climate, Nature, people and place.
